How is this different from just hosting?

What counts as a monthly hour?
Hours cover the work you ask for: small edits, fixes, troubleshooting, coding and training. Tested updates, backups, monitoring, reports and check-ins don't use your hours. Hours reset each month and don't roll over.
What if I don't use all my hours?
They reset at the start of the next month and don't roll over. Your monthly report shows exactly how many you used.
Is content editing included?
Yes. Edits to existing pages come out of your monthly hours. A typical small edit takes a fraction of an hour.
Why does WordPress cost more?
WordPress takes more work to keep healthy: core, theme and plugin updates each need testing, and plugins add compatibility and security upkeep. That's why Care is $275/mo for WordPress sites and $220/mo for static sites.
What's the difference between Care and Care + Search?
Same 2 hours and the same care. Care + Search adds Google Business Profile setup and monitoring, keyword tracking, technical SEO checks, and a search performance report every two months.
Does Care + Search publish new content?
No. It tunes the pages you already have and shows you where you stand in search. New pages and posts start with SEO Starter, which includes everything in Care + Search plus one new page a month.
Is there a contract?
No. Care and Care + Search are month-to-month with no setup fee. Cancel with 30 days' notice. See the plan terms.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrade any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of a term, which on these plans is the end of the month.
What happens to my site if I cancel?
Your site stays yours. You keep your content, your reports, and your analytics and search accounts, and we hand over access.
