What the words mean
- Monthly hours
- Your plan's hours cover the work you ask for each month: small edits, fixes, troubleshooting, coding, training and new pages or posts. Hours reset monthly and don't roll over. Included services (monitoring, backups, tested updates, reports, check-ins and tracking) don't use your hours.
- A typical page or post
- About 1.5 hours. A longer or more complex page may use more. We tell you before we go over, and agree it with you first.
- Pages and posts first
- The pages and posts in your plan are published first. The hours left over are yours for edits, fixes and coding.
- Tested updates
- We back up first, apply the update, then check your site (pages, forms, click-to-call) and roll back if something broke.
- Restore from backup
- On every plan we restore your site from the daily backup on request. Hands-on restoration and incident remediation (cleaning up after a hack and finding the cause) starts at Care.
- Basic on-page SEO
- The foundation search engines read: page titles and descriptions, image alt text, a sitemap, and Google Search Console connected.
- Monthly report
- What we did on your site this month and why, with an analytics summary and recommendations.
- Search performance report
- Rankings, traffic from search and what changed, with next steps. Every two months on Care + Search and SEO Starter; monthly on SEO Growth and Premium.
- Check-in
- A short call or written review of how the site is doing.
- AEO / GEO
- Making your content easy for AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews) to find and cite. Classic SEO gets you found in search results; AEO / GEO gets you named when people ask an AI.
- Priority technical fixes
- Your technical issues go to the front of the queue.
Plan terms
How it works, in plain language.
The short version. The full wording is in our Terms & Conditions →
- Host, Support, Care and Care + Search are month-to-month. Cancel with 30 days' notice.
- SEO plans: Starter has a 3-month minimum; Growth and Premium have a 6-month minimum. Month one (setup) counts. After that, month-to-month. Never auto-renews into another fixed term.
- No setup fee. Upgrade any time; downgrade at the end of a term.
- Cancel inside an SEO minimum? The remaining months of the minimum are billed at 50%, waived if we miss agreed deliverables.
- If you leave, you keep your accounts, reports and content. Ending SEO moves you to Care; your site stays online.
- No guarantees on rankings. Real movement usually takes 3–6 months.
